Van Geenen, based in Rijssen, recently took an important step in expanding their capabilities in high-tech surface treatment and assembly. With the construction of a new 218 m² cleanroom, on top of their already existing cleanroom facilities, they are ready to meet the increasing market demand for high-quality and specialized services. This expansion is not only a response to the lack of space Van Geenen was experiencing, but also a strategic move to further strengthen their position in the high-tech sector.
The new clean room, which has a height of no less than 5 meters, meets ISO Class 6 standards. This is an achievement that is even more impressive considering that the room was originally designed for ISO Class 7. Thanks to careful calibration, the room is now suitable for even higher levels of purity. This makes Van Geenen's cleanroom one of the most modern of its kind.
To enable work with large and heavy parts, the cleanroom is equipped with two mobile gantry cranes, each with a capacity of 2 x 1 ton. This enables Van Geenen to move parts weighing up to 4 tons safely and efficiently within the cleanroom. In addition, the cleanroom is directly connected to the cleaning area, enabling a seamless transition from cleaning to further processing or assembly.
A cleanroom of this size and specifications requires employees who are well-versed in the latest industry standards and requirements. For this reason, six enthusiastic Van Geenen employees will soon be trained to update their knowledge and ensure that they can work optimally within the new facilities. This investment in training highlights Van Geenen's commitment to continuous improvement and delivering the highest quality to their clients.

In addition, Van Geenen offers the possibility of renting out the cleanroom to clients who wish to perform specific cleaning or assembly tasks themselves in a controlled environment. Incidentally, the existing, smaller cleanroom will also remain operational and will be used primarily for handling smaller parts and ultrasonic cleaning according to the same strict standards (grade 2 and 4). This dual structure allows Van Geenen to respond flexibly to the diverse needs of their customers, ranging from small, delicate parts to large, heavy components.
The construction of the new cleanroom comes at a time when demand for advanced cleaning and assembly services is growing rapidly.
