In sectors where absolute cleanliness is essential - such as the semiconductor industry, high-tech mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, biotech and aerospace - standard cleaning stops where our cleanroom begins. Van Geenen cleans and packages parts at Grade 2 and Grade 4 levels, completely in-house and according to certified protocols. From large components to fine mechanical parts: we provide controlled cleaning, accurate inspection and traceable packaging. Because where contamination is not an option, we provide the security you need.
Our 300 m² cleanroom is ISO 7 classified (Dust Class 10,000) and certified for both Grade 2 and Grade 4 cleaning. With this, we meet the requirements of the leading players in the high-tech sector - and exceed them whenever possible. With the help of residual gas analysis (RGA), we can prove that each component meets the set cleanliness standard - and more.
A controlled result starts with a controlled process. Every part that enters our clean room goes through a series of steps - from pre-cleaning to final packaging. This is how we prevent contamination and ensure quality down to the smallest detail.
Pre-cleaning
In advance, we remove coarse contamination such as chips, grease or coolant. We do this with high-pressure cleaning and approved soaps, suitable for workpieces up to 6 meters and 2,000 kg. For metal components, we often apply pre-grinding first - to make surfaces cleaner and prevent microscopic dirt.
Ultrasonic cleaning & bath washing
In our fully automatic bath line, we clean down to the micron level. With multiple ultrasonic baths and a 4-phase wash line, we even remove internal contamination in complex or large parts. The system is fully automated, annually validated and directly linked to our cleanroom. Cleaning is done at Grade 2 or Grade 4 level as standard.
Inspection, packaging and labeling
After cleaning, we check each part with UV inspection for micro-contamination. Then we package dust-free with non-outgassing materials, provided with cleanroom-grade labels and optional stickers for traceability. Your parts are ready for integration, assembly or transportation - without compromise.
Optionele assemblage
Our cleanroom is also equipped for assembly of small and large components. You choose: work in our facility yourself or outsource the process to Van Geenen. We provide space, facilities and support.
By managing the entire process in-house - from mechanical grinding to cleanroom packaging - we ensure consistent quality, optimal alignment and maximum control over scheduling and results. Our cleanroom processes fit seamlessly with operations such as:
Pre-grinding - as technical and visual preparation
ViwateQ® Finishing - for weld removal and passive surfaces without chemicals
Because all steps take place under one roof at Van Geenen, we avoid waste, reduce risk and deliver a finished product down to the smallest detail.
