At Van Geenen, we are pleased to announce that we have expanded our capacity with a new cleanroom. This modern facility, with an area of no less than 218 m² and a height of 5 meters, meets the strict ISO Class 7 standards. With this expansion, we are even better positioned to meet the increasing demand for high-quality cleaning and assembly services in the high-tech sector.
The construction of this new cleanroom, carried out by ColPro B.V., was necessary to meet the growing needs of our customers. The demand for space and the complexity of projects are increasing, and with this new cleanroom we can meet those demands. Patrick Borkent, Cleanroom Manager at Van Geenen, puts it this way: "We are proud of the result. It is fantastic to see how Van Geenen moves with the demand from the market. We can't wait to grow even further with these new facilities and serve our customers even better."
Our new cleanroom is equipped with two mobile gantry cranes, each with a capacity of 2 x 1 ton, which allows us to safely move parts up to 4 tons. In addition, the cleanroom is directly connected to our cleaning area, making the process from cleaning to further processing or assembly seamless.
With this expansion, we now have over 300 square meters of cleanroom facilities, divided between the new and existing cleanrooms. Our smaller, already existing cleanroom will remain operational for handling smaller parts and ultrasonic cleaning. This allows us to respond flexibly to a variety of customer needs, from small, delicate parts to large, heavy components.
In addition to grade 2 and 4 cleaning and packaging, the new cleanroom also offers opportunities for assembly work. Moreover, it is possible to make the space available for rental to customers who themselves need a controlled environment for their projects.
